
Slip Slip Slip Purl – SSSP
Slip Slip Slip Purl is the act of putting 3 stitches together in a purl. Don’t confuse this with Purl 3 Together. The act of slipping turns around the stitches for a nicer look.
When slip stitching, it is down Knitwise. It is demonstrated in the video below. Each stitch is slipped by itself… then all three are returned back to the original needle and then put together like the Purl 3 Together. We have to turn the stitches around through the act of doing the slip stitching first.
