Teeny Weeny Up to 3 Months Hat
This easy beginner project is the Teeny Weeny Crochet Hat for babies up to 3 months. Focusing on 10 – 12 lbs. It will stretch. This beginner project is just half double crochets. It has easy growth instructions to follow.
Seeing this is a quick project, you can really hook up a wack of these little hats. Though the pattern shows this as one colour, you can have a bit of playful fun with this pattern with colours. You may even consider the brim of single crochet to be a different colour. I considered doing the brim in white just because I have white on hand.
These make for great donation ideas or for quickly growing babies. You could do the newborn size for the baby shower and then toss in a few of these for when the baby graduates to the next size.

Yarnspirations has released their latest Lookbook called Caron, Stitched with Love. The book of free patterns for both knitters and crocheters has one central theme, charity. It focuses on simple projects and some that require a bit of knowledge of crochet. Personally, I love how the Lookbook allows new crocheters to learn new skills but also for the ones who have some skills to go a step further.
