1. Hi, I’m really having a hard time with row 34. Is it supposed to line up with the previous rows? It looks a little wacky. I’m a beginner and would like some help.

2. Row 34. Should there be a sk dc before all the (sc,dc,sc,dc) in next stitch. The peaks and low parts arent lining up without one.

   1. I don’t believe so. If I remember right, the first row after the change looks a bit wonky, but by the second row, it straightens out.

3. What size are the skeins listed in the pattern? My local yarn retailer only has 10oz balls of the ombre. Thanks?

   1. each ombre ball is 10oz – 482 yards

4. I don’t have access to the smaller 4.5mm hook. Would I be better off going smaller with the 4 or up to the 5? I understand gauge maybe affected, I’m just hoping to have the bobbles blend correctly with the rest of pattern.

   1. I’ll check with Jeanne. I don’t know off the top of my head. I don’t know what the tension is between the two stitches.

   2. It’s been quite a while since I made this one. Are you loose or tight? Try the 4 and keep it loose or 5 and keep it tight. Or maybe switch altogether to the 4 and 5. Experiment a bit and see how it goes.

5. I want to make the blended love blanket. I’m a seasoned crocheter. I’m stuck on row 2!!! Can you explain it in simple language.? I’m probably over thinking this. Thanks so much. Hopefully I will have an ah ha moment.

   1. Hi Lois. What part are you struggling with? You are creating a chevron. Can you please be more specific? Don’t overthink it. Trust what you are reading and just take it one stitch at a time. ~ Jeanne

      1. On row 2, at the first * I skip a SC, then I SC, DC in the SC. Now, do I go on to skip sc, SC, dc, SC ,DC in the next sc. Now do I go back to the first * ?? The first * will be done 6 times, and the ** will be done 11 times. I’ve made 3 hugs and kisses blankets and can’t get this one. Hope I explained this right.

8. Oh my gosh Jeanne, Im making this now, I cant wait to show it off. Im making mine in the colors Purple ombre and True Blue ombre. Oh and its coming out so nice. This was my Birthday gift from a very good friend <3 ( the yarns) Thank you so much for a beautiful free pattern . 11. I am really confused about row 3, somehow it just doesn’t make sense to me. Could you explain more clearly, it’s probably just me, I learn by watching, too bad there isn’t a tutorial. If you could help I would sure appreciate it

12. Hi, I’m really wanting to make this blanket, but have difficultiy reading patterns. I’m curious when you say drop color and pick up the next color, are we to leave it there or take the drop color to the other end of the row to be able to pick it back up? This is at the end of row 15, to drop & pick up then on row 16 to drop color & pick up again. Im not positive how we are to do that and have been looking for tutorials on doing this but can’t find any. Please help. Thanks.

16. Row 34? There are no sc in row 33! Help

    1. Yes, you are correct. Where ever it says to work into a sc, should just be st. I’m so sorry. It was tested by 2, but sometimes those small things are hard to catch.

18. I’m having difficulties. I’m usually not super challenged but for some reason am having trouble at row 20. A video would be awesome, but maybe a diagram would solve my problem. Please consider…. Thank you! It’s beautiful!

    1. I can’t get row 20 to work out right either!! I’m not a novice, and I’d swear I’m doing everything right on the row below and row 20, but it’s not lining up!!!

20. Do you have a tutorial on the Blended Love Blanket ? I would LOVE to make this blanket. I especially like your color combinations. I am terrible at choosing color combinations and yours are gorgeous! ? I am having trouble following written patterns, but can follow tutorial. Thankyou.

    1. No we haven’t filmed anything yet for this blanket I’m sorry.

       1. Do you use a H and I hook for this? What letter is size 7?

       2. Size 7 in US does not have a letter associated with it. It’s a 4.5 mm hook.

       3. Row 34, there are no sc from row 33. Help

       6. I’m looking at your photographs of the blanket. Were two blankets made or just one and they look different under lighting? I have to order this yarn online and I want to make sure I am ordering the right set of colors. From what I can tell one blanket is more blue and purple and the other more teal and corals. Can you clarify?

       7. It’s only one blanket. It’s the lighting. I’m just a hobbyist photographer. I get a bit frustrated sometimes trying to capture the true colors of the yarn. I’d say more teals and darker pinks, not corals.

       8. How many skeins of each color?
