Crochet Floral Beauty Throw Pattern
The Crochet Floral Beauty Throw is really heavy in texture. The yarn is changing colour on its own but you can control that if you wish to change colours between the rounds.
I have created an alternative for the 2nd last round. I did that so I could get more of a square look out of the pattern.
Rnd 11 – Alternative
You will see the square on the left is more rounded in the way the original design is. My version is more squared off.
Original Says
Round 11: Slip st to first ch-1 space, ch 3, dc in next 16 ch-1 spaces, [(dc, ch 3, dc) in next ch-1 space, dc in next 17 ch-1 spaces] around, (dc, ch 3, dc) in last ch-1 space, slip st in top of beginning ch-3 – 76 dc and 4 ch-3 spaces.
My Change is as follows:
Round 11: Use only ch-1 spaces in this round. Slip st to first ch-1 space, ch 4 (counts as treble). 1 dc in next 2 sps, 1 hdc in next 2 sps, 1 sc in next 7 sps, 1 hdc in next 2 sps, 1 dc in next 2 sps, 1 tr in next sp. [(1 tr, ch 3, 1 tr) in next ch-1 space, 1 tr in next sp, 1 dc in next 2 sps, 1 hdc in next 2 sps, 1 sc in next 7 sps, 1 hdc in next 2 sps, 1 dc in next 2 sps, 1 tr in next sp. Rep [ ] around. (1 tr, ch 3, 1 tr) n last sp. Join with sl st to beg ch 4.

I notice the pattern says that Rnd 12 is in the back loops only. But the video is just a regular sc. Is there a reason for the change?
Follow the pattern. I’m surprised I would have missed that. There’s no reason for the change if I demonstrated it wrong. I’m sorry.

You could use any yarn of the same weight really, it’s a 4 weight.
