Love this mitten pattern, but wondering if there is a way to keep the seam straight? Mine seems to curve toward the right eben though following the pattern exactly. Any ideas?

The seamline naturally travels but if you prefer a straight line seam. Turn at the end of a round to go back in the opposite direction. This will make the seamline straight.

Ok thanks, I’ll give that a try. Appreciate your help!

Hi Mikey! Thanks so much for all your instructions. I’m very new to crochet (since August) but I’ve already made two beginner projects, which are lovely. Re: this mitten project– I started on a test adult size mitten but it turned out too huge. I’m using Bernat Pop yarn and a 5mm hook, so that is probably why. The cuff turned out just fine. I’m wondering if you could give some advice with resizing? Thanks!

Resizing can be done if you change the hook size. The cuff would be easy to change. The rest of it, you may need to decrease the hook or you could eliminate some rounds too.

I just tried it and it’s working for me, I’m not sure why it’s not for you, you click on the blue button it should take you the Yarnspirations page where the link to the actual pattern is, you click on the large grey button and it takes you to the pattern.

Hi, is there a link to the printed pattern? While I like videos, I am the type that works best with printed words.
    Thanks
    Bruce

Yes, it was provided in the write-up. Plus, there is a blue button for where to get the download from as well. 🙂 We have you covered.

Mikey found the mitten patter on YouTube for 2-4 years but I seem to have more stitches in the thumb area like twelve instead of eight, stared over, once and still the same, I am using a number 5 bulky yarn and an H hook the body of the mit turns out fine but not the thumb can be help? Thanks I love the channel you do beautiful work and give good instructions

Was watching video, then it cut out, stopped where you were slip stitching cuffs together. Really want to watch

I’m unsure why the video player did that.
