   Thank you for another fabulously explained video tutorial! You have a way of explaining the stitches and the “why” of where the hook goes, that NOBODY else comes close to! As a noob to crochet, that has never had the opportunity to ask, “now where?” and “why there?” because I’ve taught myself during a pandemic and know zero people who crochet, you have officially become the gold standard for video tutorials in my book. If I see a nice stitch in a picture, I stalk your Pinterest page to try and find one of YOUR videos to explain it properly! Don’t let anyone tell you “you talk too much”; they are all liars! Send them to me and I’ll have my finger wagging so fast….

   1. Heya Kerri. Firstly, thanks for your thoughtful response. I am teaching the way my mom taught me. It’s not the issue to stick the hook into a position but it’s best to know why so you can use that knowledge to further yourself. I firmly believe the crocheters aren’t meant to follow 100% but to understand the logic of the concept so they can remember it easier.

      I try not to talk so much and it’s difficult to maintain a speed for everyone. That’s the hardest thing about being in the public like this.

3. I love this tutorial! You did such a fantastic job explaining this beautiful stitch. I have some Bernat Blanket yarn that I want to use. I have been looking and I don’t see where it is listed how many skeins this will take if done with the 110 starting stitches and done to the correct length. I hate to wing it and hope that I have enough, but that is what I am going to do.

6. Is using different color of yarn possible with this pattern or will it be ugly??

   1. Up to you. Colour is personal and up to your own personal choices. I don’t like yellow but others love it. Do what you think you would love the most.

7. Hi! I was glancing at this pattern and a few others here on your channel. I am wondering if you have a pattern that’s fit for a king size bed? Thanks in advance!

   1. Not usually but that’s because many afghans have a multiple repeat where you can adjust the sizing, so they make it a throw size knowing we can adjust it. The yarn quantities won’t be known. For myself, I don’t have a king-size here at home, I just know dimensions. You would just need to figure out the multiples for the pattern and make the starting chain big enough for the king-size and also in the same multiple to keep the stitches insyc.

9. Michael, is there a way you can change that neon green print to darker non neon color please! I’m older & have 2 eye blinding diseases so those neon & light colors are almost invisible to me! I’d like to be included in being able to read & navigate your blog! Thank you

10. Beautiful pattern! But is there a way to see what yarn is needed without downloading the pattern or viewing the tutorial first?

    1. Let them think on that. I am trying not to rewrite the pattern on the blog because if the pattern changes, then my article is wrong which compiles into a ton of complaints for inaccuracy. Leave it with me. I have to think about that as the repercussions for any misinforming come at me fast and furious each day. That was requested on YouTube as well for people to know more without having to click the links of the details we have. I am providing more details on YouTube but of course, everything is subject to change without warning.
