Field of Dreams Raised Granny Squares

Using a Size H or 5mm Hook with Red Heart Super Saver or Red Heart With Love, you can create these wonderful squares.
Tip
The first square will take you the longest to do the figuring out. Once you get one done, the others fall in line easier as you get the pattern and where the stitches need to go. Just give it a chance.

Hi, I like every article , every think is very very nice.
Thank you for this fabulous pattern with a great tutorial video. I am very new to crochet, but am loving having the videos to learn from rather than just trying to decifier a written pattern (which I have found I can not do!). As a visual learner can I please make one request? Could you hold up the project (perhaps at the end of each row) so that I (we) can see if what I have done is the same as what you have done. Sometimes it’s a bit tricky to know if I have put the stitch where it was meant to go, but if I could see it I would know for sure!
Other than that – thank you for what you do, I am definitely now a devoted follower!
I will try to adjust in the future… The filming studio is a really tight spot… I have to lean over the camera for the shot and it’s really hard on the back.
This is amazing I have been looking for a motif granny sqaure for the past week when I found one it was not clearly instructed, your video is very clear it’s make it very easy I’ll be doing crochet this tomorrow night x very good clear instructions in a friendly manner to make a beautiful piece

l like to join at the end for l don’t get the joining as you go part very well. Right now l’m doing 3 Lego block afghans to fit twin size beds. 100 Lego blocks to an afghan.1 is fininshed so l could see how it would look. super cool!! l’m completing all of the squares (blocks) for the other 2 before l put them together. l am finding that making the last 50 blocks is getting to be very long. Can’t wait until they are all finished and l can finally put them all together and call them done. l know 3 little guys who will be very happy when l finally give them to their grandma to give them as gifts. I love it, Mikey could you look for a Pattern for me it’s called the Cabbage Rose, I found a few patterns but it’s not the same, this rose was crochet with Treble Stitch etc.I made the Blanket when I was younger but I got frustrated and through it away, can you believe it and the pattern.Now that I’m old I wish I had the pattern, could kick myself in my bootie for being so stupid.Thank you so much for teaching me I still learn from you even now that I’m old :).
